Hey Y'all,
Buddy is at his new home:)! He's very happy to see some of his friends from ducktown. The pastures are amazing and he loves it. I moved him last Friday and he was so calm. I gave him a bath (something i have wanted to do for awhile). Then on Saturday i groomed him and did some groundwork, he did really well and was completely relaxed (last time we moved him he went wild horse on me) I'm gonna see him a couple times this week and let y'all know how he's doing.

Buddy is a chestnut gelding with a strong face. He has a long,narrow white blaze and a pink nose. He loves to rough house with the other horses. See below for Buddy's story.

Buddy's Fan Club
Buddy was owned by a family for 10 years. He stayed on 35 acres of grass but developed hoof problems as there was no shelter to keep his feet dry for any length of time. His feet detoriated. The family not wanting any further harm done to buddy's feet donated him to the rescue. Our farrier worked and corrected the hoof damage and he is now in a dry stall when he isn't outside in his pasture enjoying the green grass. He is a permanent resident of the rescue.
